Privacy policy

CS Devs operates Worm Girlfriend at www.wormgirlfriend.com. This policy describes the browser game and its account services. Contact support@wormgirlfriend.com with privacy questions or requests.

Accounts and game saves

The demo saves progress in your browser. When you sign in, Supabase stores your email address, account identifier, and game save so you can continue on another device. Google sign-in also provides basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture. We use this information to identify your account, save progress, and restore purchases.

Your browser stores sign-in session information and separate local saves for guest play and each account. Signing out ends this browser’s session but does not erase saved games. Clearing site data removes local saves; download a backup first if you want to keep them.

Payments and support

Stripe and Link process payments and payment information through Stripe Managed Payments. This site does not receive your full card number. Purchase records link your account to the game you bought and record payment or refund status. If you contact support, CS Devs receives your message and the details you include. Google Workspace delivers support messages to our owners.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the website and processes technical request logs, which can include IP addresses and browser information. Supabase provides authentication and cloud storage, with this project hosted in the United States. Resend delivers sign-in emails and processes delivery information. Google provides optional sign-in and the game’s web fonts. These providers process information needed to deliver their services.

The public game does not send the former anonymous playtest telemetry or surveys. We do not sell player information or use Google account data for advertising.

Retention and your choices

Local saves remain until you clear them. Account and cloud-save data remain until you request deletion; we do not currently apply an automatic expiry. To request access, correction, or deletion, email support. We may need to verify that you own the account. Deletion removes cloud progress and may affect purchase restoration. Payment and support records may need to be retained for accounting, refunds, disputes, or legal requirements.

You can play the demo without an account. You can also remove Worm Girlfriend’s Google access in your Google account settings. That does not itself delete your game account or cloud save.
